Miracle worker? Supplements are making a difference!

I have been avidly reading my sensory processing disorder listserv and have been amazed at some of the dietary and environmental things people are doing for their kiddos. A while back I posted about my thoughts/fears on going GFCF and I have been pondering the amazing stories and anecdotes these cyber "friends" have been posting ever since.

So I decided: baby steps, right? Last Sunday when I was at the grocery store, I found myself in the pharmacy area and I picked up some Omega 3 supplements for the boys. Jack refused them from the get go, but Sumner was agreeable, and within 48 hours, we are noticing HUGE differences! Less meltdowns, more agreeable behavior, and I haven't heard him ask "to please turn the refrigerator off because it is hurting my ears" in the last 3 days! The only thing that has changed is the omega 3 supplements.

I've decided to start them on a multi-vitamin and vitamin C supplements next week, and add Epsom salts to their next bath. Eventually I want to work up to enzymes. I know I have a lot of researching to do. I want to find an omega 3 supplement Jack will take as well. I am just amazed: Sumner is interacting more with his brother, having less meltdowns, and life here has been blissful the last few days. Even the daycare teacher said she's noticed huge changes in him!
