A belated Christmas extravaganza..you'll laugh your santa beard right off!

First, in a set of pictures only a SPD mother can love, I present to you the Santa picture. Everything was going great until the lady behind the camera decided she needed to ring a set of jingle bells very loudly at my auditory-hypersensitive child. He was shouting "no" at the camera lady. I explained he had sensory issues and asked her to stop, but by then it was too late. I still see it as hilarious. The people gave us the copy for free because they said "they'd never had a child react like that before." Santa picture people, meet Jack:

The only "calmer" picture we could get:

The boys also helped me make cookies a few days before Christmas. Jack was really into it, but Summy freaked out with the dough. He was able to cut one with a cookie cutter, as long as he didn't have to touch it, and after a brief "hug" session and some time in his tension vest, was able to come back and put sprinkles on a cookie or two. Jack decided to sample cookie at whim which cracked me up.

my favorite cookie. Jack dumped an entire container of star sprinkles on it:

Some Christmas morning pics. Santa's big gift was a "pwano"

The boys with their great grandfather:

Last, as we were sitting in church on Christmas Eve, Summy really honed in on the words being said. During one prayer they said the word "humanity." Summy looked at me and said "Yeah, Manatees! Like at the zoo!"

Who knew Jesus had manatees attending to him in the manger?

Good for you for speaking up about SPD and Mr. Jack. My favorite picture of all is is "no" one. Maybe Jack taught Santa a thing or two.

SOOOO cute! The pics are great, I especially like the piano one. And what a sugar-overload cookie, but isn't that the best kind? ;)

Slane was "singing" along during our Christmas Eve service. So, we're singing Silent Night accapella, and in the middle, we hear Slane say, "Uh-Oh!"

what great pictures and memories, love the sprinkle cookies. Piano is an awesome gift, that is actually what DH is getting me (he actually is moving a piano we are getting for free as my present).

I'm so glad that Summy finally solved the Jesus Manger debate about who all was there. We should have known there were manatees. lol. Too cute!
