is the text hard to read? any thoughts on how to fix my "signature" and what about the title/other text colors?
The orange is a little hard to read on the blue backgrounds (the orange that is your post headings and used links, a slightly darker color orange might show up better. The other text colors seem fine.
Your signature, I am not sure about that, since I do not know how the signature websites work, if you could give it a blue background or try a different text color? It looks right now like the text is outlined in white, which is odd.

I like the new layout a lot...and prefer this one to the dark blue background. I think it is easier to see/read the text.
I agree with Mandy---your signature does look like it is outlined in white.
