1/2 birthday!
Happy 6 months to the boys today! My little men are growing up! Summy woke up tonight after I put him to bed, and when I came in to give him his paci, he started giggling so hard Jack cracked his eyes and frowned at us and I had to grab him out of the crib and bring him in the living room I was laughing so hard as well!

Our sleepless night led to...
...a bunch of milestones!
Today, out of the blue, Jack, who has been rolling from back to belly a ton and lifting his head, rolled back to belly, and then to back again! I have a *feeling* he'll be rolling all over the place in no time. He also"sat up" in his boppy to almost a 90 degree angle!
Summy rolled from belly to back 4 times in a row!! He also "splashed" in the tub for the first time tonight which led to a sopping wet mommy and kitchen!
Both boys were very fussy, and totally pooped at the end of the night! They took big bottles and went to sleep without a peep!

new pics, and my big eater award goes to...
Summy! He ate a big 'ol 9 ounce bottle tonight! What a big boy!!
I went to school for what was supposed to be a 2 hour meeting, which quickly became 4 1/2 hours. GAH! Overwhelming to say the least! We made the schedule for the upcoming school year and it looks as if I might get to have lunch with the boys on Wednesdays! very exciting!
I also got a call today that they are going to get the ball rolling on Jack's therapy through the state, and possibly some for Sum as well, depending on our evaluation from last week!
And, it's 12:30 am and I am awake with insomnia, mostly from fear of returning back to work on the 20th. Today was very difficult, and I was rather distracted!
Enjoy some pics with my new camera! Jack's been really rolling over a ton, and I caught him mid-roll and got some silly pictures

updates

Jack's GI appointment on Thursday was disappointing and frustrating to say the least. We never actually got to meet with a doctor, and I am currently on a no-dairy diet to see if his slow weight gain is due to a dairy allergy. We go in the next few weeks for a swallow study, and they referred him for feeding therapy. (*finally*)
Summy has developed quite a love affair with his taggie blanket that involves "talking" to it while licking the tags. I'll post pics soon.
Jack woke us up at 6:30 this morning crying in the crib: he had rolled over from back to belly in his swaddle! He also rolled over outside in the grass, and quite a few times over the last few days! Go Jack!
At the developmental assessment both boys were on track with their adjusted age, and a little ahead of their adjusted age for cognitive and social/language abilities.
Pictures of the boys above!
